Participation in the meeting of the CIS "ORDO AMORIS" and the Department of Psychology of the Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after B. Khmelnytskyi

On November 20, 2024, Pavlo Sapega, a student of the 4th year of the psychology major at the Odesa Institute of PJSC "MAUP University" and scientific director, Ph.D., associate professor, head of faculty Alla Nerubasska presented the topic "Dynamics of suicide in the psychoanalytic perspective of intrapersonal conflict" at an extended meeting of the student scientific circle "ORDO AMORIS" and the department of psychology of the Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after B. Khmelnytsky dedicated to the discussion of the problem of suicide and ways to overcome it. Students of O. Dovzhenko Hlukhiv State Pedagogical University were also invited to participate in the meeting.
During the report, Pavlo Sapega emphasized that suicide is a multifaceted phenomenon that has biological, psychological and social roots. Suicide prevention needs to ensure access to effective psychological support through crisis centers and outpatient services, and to reduce social isolation and inequalities that create additional stress.
During the meeting, academic supervisors and participants actively discussed the most relevant topic of our time. Promotion of mental health as an integral part of general well-being is an important direction, including in preventive work on the topic of suicides, so it was suggested to continue such meetings!!!
