Seminar in memory of Serhii Dmytrovych Maksimenko

On September 11, 2025, students and teachers of the department of general scientific, social and behavioral disciplines held a seminar dedicated to the memory of the outstanding psychologist, teacher and Man with a capital letter - Serhiy Dmytrovych Maksimenko, who passed away on July 27, 2025, but remained alive in the hearts and works of his followers in the field of psychology. The goal was to touch the legacy of the great Ukrainian scientist, doctor of psychological sciences, professor and academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 
During the seminar, head of the department, Doctor of Philosophy, associate professor Alla Oleksandrivna Nerubasska presented S.D. Maksimenko to the students as a figure of science and pedagogy; Maria Arikul, a 3rd-year student, gave a speech "S.D. Maksymenko and modern psychology"; Candidate of Psychiatry, associate professor, guarantor of the second (master's) level "Psychology" program, Maryna Anatoliivna Kryukova shared her warm memories of working with the scientist and led her through his scientific discoveries. 
During the event, they talked about his ideas, which help to understand a person more deeply, about his love for science and students, about the inspiration he generously shared with everyone who had the good fortune to work or study with him.
Serhiy Dmytrovych Maksimenko left behind not only works (more than 800 works, including 35 textbooks for university students, 36 teaching aids, 30 monographs), but also a whole school of students who carry his light on.
His legacy is a living fire that continues to inspire, unite and drive forward!
