STUDENT SCIENTIFIC AND LAW CLUB "FEMIDA" (SNPK "FEMIDA") is the oldest Club of the Institute, it was created in December 2005. The founder and scientific leader of the Club until 2024 was the associate professor of the Department of Law and Law Enforcement, adjunct professor of the MKA Zolotaryova Olena Adolfivna.
oday, the Club includes 16 students majoring in 081 Law.
Academic head of the Club is a teacher of the Department of Law and Law Enforcement, Maryana Oleksandrivna Stadnik.
The club carries out active scientific and organizational work in the following forms:
- monthly "round tables" on legal, political-legal, economic-legal and other topical issues;
- student scientific conferences, cooperation with other student scientific clubs of SNT;
- trainings and events together with the probation service on combating domestic violence and other issues;
- participation in international, all-Ukrainian, other scientific conferences of the Institute and other institutions with the publication of abstracts of reports;
- participation in webinars, non-formal education events;
- scientific publications, in particular in specialized publications;
- Involvement in participation in conferences and "round tables": guests, students from the National University of Higher Education, Higher Secondary Education and Higher Education Institutions and other higher education institutions, specialists of various levels;
- participation in organizing committees for the preparation of scientific events;
- participation in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad and institute legal olympiads, in the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works and other contests of scientific works;
- prevention of offenses, bullying and overcoming legal nihilism among young people;
- club events, charity events, volunteer activities.
Club traditions:
- SNPK "Themis" has its own emblem and symbols.
- Club members receive club badges upon joining.
- Members of our Club receive diplomas and other awards for their active participation.- According to the results of the calendar year since 2008, the best member of the Club has been awarded the Prize of the Wise Turtle, which is awarded by the management of SNPK "Themis" for the most active participation in scientific student work during the year. Why did the Turtle become a symbol of wisdom? Everyone knows the wise turtle Tortilla from Pinocchio. In Chinese tradition, there is an Ao turtle, on whose back there are three sacred mountains, which are the abode of the immortals. Since Heaven, according to Chinese ideas, has the shape of a hemisphere, and the Earth - a square, the turtle, with its dome-shaped shell on top and flat quadrangular body, becomes for them a model of the universe. In Eastern medieval literature, the turtle became a symbol of the HIGHEST SCIENCE AND WISDOM. For 2020 and 2021, Club member Nataliya Rusavska became the Laureate of the Prize, for 2022 - Club board member, 2nd-year student Natalya Voronko, who headed the Club today, and in 2023 won the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on the basis of the Khmelnytsky Institute of the MAUP with research on the topic: "International justice and Russia's responsibility for international crimes in Ukraine".
- Holding of the annual Action "GIVE THE CHILDREN A STAR!" (things, funds, books, toys, fruit, medicine are collected for the children of the Children's Home (from birth to 5 years old) at the Kovalevsky Dacha in Odesa and handed over to St. Nicholas Day - from this year it is December 6).
- Conducting the Action "Let's collect caps to help wounded soldiers!" (collection and transfer of plastic lids to the volunteer center "DANKO", the money from which volunteers donate goes to the treatment of wounded defenders of Ukraine and the purchase of equipment for hospitals).- Carrying out the Promotion "Cans for trench candles".
- The club takes part in planned scientific researches of the department of legal disciplines, in the work of two educational and scientific laboratories of the department.
